Launched on July 15, 1996, MSNBC News TV broadcasted news with interactive programming and a show featuring Ann Coulter and Laura Ingraham. Later on, MSNBC decided to take politics as a brand with a large dose of opinion and personality. MSNBC had to face a lot of difficulty in attracting viewers.
